We are often asked what we expect from those visiting Mexico with us.

• ATTITUDE: People with a good attitude are always welcome to join us. An attitude of interest and a willingness to be stretched. Willing to serve and work. This kind of attitude will go a long way toward making your time with us a success.

  We like people that are flexible! When you cross any border and go into another country you must be flexible. Take the day as it comes.

  We want individuals and groups that understand they are guests in another country. Those who willing become a minority and a foreigner as they work with us in Mexico.

  We like our visitors to be prepared for their trip with us, prepared to serve in Mexico, knowing to some extent what Spectrum's ministry is about and what they will be expected to do.

  We discourage people from ministering with us that have ulterior motives, and their own agenda!

• CAUTION: All girls traveling with us are expected to dress modestly. No short, tight or otherwise sexy clothing! The guys in Mexico have a name for a girl who dresses like that.

  Guys are to keep their shirts on while in Mexico. Men, and teens without shirts, isn't culturally acceptable.

  Hispanics coming across with us are not to dress tough or "Cholo".

  We work with the poor. We discourage our visitors from bringing expensive equipment or wearing jewelry and wealthy attire.

• COURTESY: If for some reason you have a cancel your trip with us ... Pleast let us know AS SOON AS POSSIBLE! DON'T EVER JUST MAKE A NO SHOW!

SCHEDULE: We leave the Spectrum area at 9 a.m.. We get to the market assembly area at 9:45 a.m.. We leave the assembly area at 10:30 a.m.. We arive at our work location about 11 a.m.. We work three to four hours and leave the work site about 2:30 p.m..

NOTE: If you want to return to the U.S. YOU WILL NEED YOUR I.D. CARD. If you are not a U.S. Citizen, YOU MUST HAVE YOUR PROPER PAPERWORK IN HAND.
